About the Author

Within the flash of a near death experience, Stephan Pacheco felt his personality die. He felt all history fall away, yet something still existed. Stephan found no damnation and no salvation. He knew only the peace that exists when one knows they do not have to try and survive. He knew that he was that peace itself. In his death there was no reason to compromise to please those that sought authority over him. There was no control. Most importantly, he knew that power is only a manifestation of Humankind's greed and cruelty. He discovered, in the instant, that no god or entity seeks power, only humans do, only the ego wants and it will lie to justify itself into glory. When this ego dies it wants nothing. If humans were to impose their ultimate penalty on other humans for the sake of control, then death only returns us again to peace, released from the Human's arrogance and want for power. Stephan's life has been spent deepening the reason that explains this Truth of Absolute Freedom that all of us possess, and all of us can know It if we turn away from power by letting go of fear.
